Explain why tim is electroplated on cans used for storing food? ​

Explanation:

As tin is a less reactive metal and hence does not react with the food inside whereas metals like iron when electroplated may react with the food , and form inedible poisonous substances and hence may spoil the food. Hope this helps :)
