Tracheoles are the respiratory sites in insects but they are not vascularised
First let us understand why we need vascularisation
Respiratory sites in higher animals are vascularised so that the oxygen that is taken up can be transported to all parts of the body and all the different organs
But in the case of insects, the tracheoles are directly connected to all tha organs and tissues of the insect and hence there is no need for transport or vascularisation
