Explain why value of g on zero at the centre of the earth... Answer :- Given : At the centre of earth height is equal to radius.. h = R gd = g ( 1 - d / R) gd = g ( 1- R/ R) gd = g (1- 0 ) gd = g (0) gd = 0 And hence at the centre of earth value of g become zero
