When the sun is overhead it appears white due to dispersion of light

⏩⏩We know that at noon the sun's distance is the least to earth as compared to sun's position at sunrise or sunset also the light rays emitted by sun are perpendicular to glass slab like earth's atmosphere hence light is not refracted as well as all components of light reach our eyes at same time therefore the sky appears white at noon.
