M1 will be easier to stop

(this question is only valid when the surface is frictional)

The force due to friction is μmg (μ : frictional constant and mg : weight of the mass 'm')

so as the mass increase the force due to friction increase that's why more mass will make object stop faster

but if the surface is friction less means μ=0 then no friction force will be applied then it will be impossible to say which one will stop first with this much data
