Explain why work done is 0 when the force is applied from 90° .Explain it using sin,cos and tan​

Answer:

At θ=90∘ the magnitude of the component of the force in the direction of the displacement is zero so no work is done as cos(90)=0. At θ>90∘ the magnitude of the component of the force along the line of the displacement is opposite in direction to the displacement so negative work is done, cosθ<0.
