How did your parents decide on your name?
Season to start anew.
Mine is a different story.
In films and stories, I have seen parents deciding the names for their babies before the birth of baby but in real life, I haven't seen anyone. Actually it is a very tough task to select the best name in the view of all. So, people begin to use different names for the baby and different persons starts calling him/her by their own different name. My paying guest in my hometown are also a bit confused for the name and their son is now of 6 months. Everyone is suggesting names to them, but they are not satisfied till now.I have provided a list from the internet and that is working, since they are shortlisting it.
Coming to my story,
As usual my parents haven't decided any name for me because there were a variety of options in their mind (although that time was not with much internet facility to search for it) and so each and everyone started using different names for me.
For Example-
Some people in the colony started saying to me-"Man", that means Heart in English.
In home and among relatives, I was popular by "Bittu", no known meaning in English.
The most important one is-"Ramkhilawan",based on the Indian God-"Ram" used by my landlord.
Inspired by the Famous Indian TV series of the time- , I spread my name as "Sanju" among my friends.
My father and my village started using "Darshi".
For now-
Those people still say me Mann and i feel a lot of love and affection by this name.
