Zinc Metal can displace copper from copper sulphate solution but copper can not displace zinc from zinc solution, this is because of the reactivity. Between zinc and copper , zinc is more reactive than copper. So, zinc can displace copper from it's solution and can form zinc solution, but copper being less reactivate can't displace zinc. This type of reaction in which a metal displaces another metal from its solution is called as Displacement Reactions.
