1. women 's literacy rate is very less compared to men in india .
2. Most of the families are still not sending girl child to higher studies.Even though girls perform as well as boys and in some places more than boys people are ready to spend on boys rather than girls.
3.Most of the women are still not employed to high valued jobs. Even the equal Remuneration Act passed women are still paid less than men.Even though they do the same work as men, from cinemas to sports ; factories to fields ; women are paid less.
4.Many families are still expecting boy child and they are aborting girl child.
5.There are many cases in which women are facing harassment violence and exploitation in India.
