Explain with an activity that area of contact decrease and pressure increase

We can see that in general life , in case of our school bags . If the straps of our school bags are very narrow then we feel pain on our shoulders and neck area since the strap area is very less so the pressure is very high since pressure is directly proportional to area , but if we have a wider strap bag ,the area increases and thus pressure decreases . Also in case os cutting an apple with two different knives , one sharp and another one blunt , in case os blunt knife since it is blunt area is very much therefore more force must be applied to cut the apple . But in case of a sharp knife since it is sharp and has less area therefore less force is required to cut the same apple . I hope this will clear your doubts .
