Carbon dioxide and water are converted to glucose, water and oxygen. Glucose can be stored in the plant as starch. Photosynthesis is a vital process as it produces food for the plant as well as animals and human beings. It also supplies us with oxygen without which we cannot breathe
hope this helps

Question
explain with an activity that carbon dioxide and water are necessary for photosynthesis
Answer:
1 . take two blotted plant or money plant of same size .
2. place one plant in sealed container(air tight) and inside it place potassium hydroxide solution
KOH solution would capture carbondioxide
3. place the second plant in open place
4. after 3-7 days plug a leaf from both and do the starch test
starch test could be done by placing leaf in alcohol solution and allow it to boil it in water bath then dropping iodine solution to it
you would find that the presence of starch in the plant that is placed in open .
hence carbon dioxide is needed for photosynthesis.
similarly you can explain a activity to demonstrate an activity showing water is necessary for photosynthesis
