explain with an example how the use of fertilizer can alter the soil chemistry??

Chemical fertilisers are may be acidic or may be basic in nature if we add more amount of fertilisers to the soil it becomes acidic or basic which is not good for plants.
e. g urea , ammonia etc

because fertilizers contains harmful elements like nitrogen , phosphorus and potassium . they can destroy the fertility of soil.
