Matter can change from one state to another if heated or cooled. If ice (a solid) is heated it changes to water (a liquid). This change is called MELTING. If water is heated, it changes to steam (a gas).

1 if we are changing soild to liquid so its intermolecular particles increases and intermolecular force of attraction decreases

and if we are changing liquid to solid so intermolecular particles decreases and force of attraction increases

it also depends on change of state of matter for example if temperature increases so pressure decreases
