Hey there......!!

Experiment to show that chlorophyll is necessary for the process of photosynthesis➡

Take a plant with variegated leaves with some green and some non-green areas.

For example▶Coleus

(1) Keep the plant in dark for a few days in order to destarch the leaves.

(2) Place the plant in the sunlight.

(3) Thereafter pluck one of the leaves of the same plant.

(4) Mark its outline on a paper and mark the green and non green areas on the outline.

(5) Test the leaf for starch.

The parts of leave that were green will then blue-black, showing the presence of starch.

Hope this helps!!
