(a)homologous organs =the organisms which have the same basic design of organs but with different purpose is called homologous organs. eg= limbs of a human and a frog

(b) analogous organs= the organisms with different basic structure of organs but with same purpose is called analogous organs .eg=wings of a butterfly and the wings of a bird

(c)fossils=the dead remains of the animals that lived in a prehistoric era is called fossils . Fossils are created when the dead remains of plants and animals gets submerged in a layer of soil and over time the accumulation of soil builds pressure and temperature in the animals and plant remains transforming into fossils. The fossils tells about the organisms that lived in a prehistoric era . the archaeopteryx a reptile which can fly which lived about 240mya is considered as a missing link between birds and reptiles it had beak and feathers like a bird but teeth and long tail like a reptile thus fossils describe the evidence of evolution
