1) Phototropism- The movement of plants towards light is called phototropism. roots shows negative phototropism and Shoot part shows positive phototropism.

2) Hydrotropism- The movement of plants towards water. roots shows positive hydrotropism. and shoots show negative hydrotropism.

3) Geotropism- The movement of plants towards the earth or ground, roots shows positive Geotropism and Shoots shows negative Geotropism.

4) Chemotropism- Eg: the movement of pollen grain towards ovary.
