Step-by-step explanation:

Multiplying powers with same base :

a^m x a^n = a^m+n

Eg : 4³ x 4⁴ = 4⁷

Dividing powers with same base :

a^m / a^n = a^m-n

Eg : 4⁵/4² = 4³

Power of a power :

(a^m)^n = a^mn

Eg : (4³)⁵ = 4¹⁵

Multiplying powers with the same exponents :

a^m x b^m = (ab)^m

Eg : 4³ x 5³ = 20³

Negative exponents :

a-² = 1/

Eg : 4-⁶ = 1/4⁶

Power with exponent zero :

a⁰ = 1

Eg : 4⁰ = 1

Fractional exponent :

a¹/^n = n√a

Eg : 2¹/² = √2
