as the animals uproot the plants and eat so the plants are no able so regenerate so now as roots are not there the soil could not be bound and as a result it gets loose and lose its fertility and becomes Sandy. In mining as all the minerals are taken away advantage result there is no minerals for the plants to grow and then the plant dies. and that land is degraded.
