(iii) Farmers now have greater amounts of surplus wheat to sell in the markets which eventually has improved their economic condition.

Disadvantages of using modern farming methods are:

1.Excessive use of fertilizers cause salinity and depletion of micronutrients in soil.

2. It leades to disguised unemployment.

3. Modern machines are costly and are not affordable by everyone.

4. The originality of product is decreasing
