When there is pollution in the air like mixture of pollutants, gases, smoke, and it rains, the rain drops come in contact with the polluted air which makes the rain acidic. It makes the environment unhealthy. Example of pollutants are Sulphur dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, sooty materials, ozone (O3), etc..
