Answers are explained below :

Homologous organs are the organs which have same structure. The function performed by them are different.

This helps in providing evolution information as ancestory can be traced back with its help.

Example - forelimbs of humans and wings of birds.

Analogous organs are the ones which share function but originate from different sources.

This can also help in evolutionary information with respect to adaptation in environment.

Example - wings of insect and wings of birds.

Fossils represent preserved imprints of plants and animals. They date back to thousands of years.

They play important role in evolutionary studies as they can provide information about extinct organisms and help in relating existing and extinct organisms.

Example - fossils of dinosaur and DNA remains.
