Explain with help of an example , if the displacement of a particle is zero , then it is not necessary that the distance traversed by it is also zero

Take a circular racing track of 1.2 km . Then after one round or one lap, the distance covered by car will be 1.2 km , but the displacement is zero because the car came back to it's intial position.
