cl minus is anion . anion has greater size than atom because screening effect dominates on effective nuclear charge because of addition of electrons in outermost shell so size increases where as Na+ is a cation . cation has small size than atom because loosing of electrons causes increase in effective nuclear charge so that electrons get closer to nucleus and size decreases...
