Northern Ireland is a country largely divided between Protestants and Catholics. They had huge socialconflicts as protestants were a minority here and catholics were majority. British people took advantage of this and supported the protestants to gain power over the land . Because of the conflicts between the majority and minority they cudnt unite together to revolt against britain. Therefore through The Union Act of 1801 the britain brought Northern Ireland under its territory forming The United Kingdom Of Britain.
