By SOLVENT EXTRACTION: Dissolve the mixture of sulphur and copper in a beaker containing the solvent carbon disulphide and stir well. Sulphur dissolves in the solvent but carbon doesn’t dissolve. Put this mixture on filter paper in the funnel. Copper remains on the filter paper but sulphur passes into the beaker as filtrate. Sulphur separates as carbon disulphide evaporates.

Answer:

Explanation:

To seperate a mixture of sulphur and Copper

you need to put them in water.

Due to sulphur being light, it will come at the top

and copper will sink down due to it's weight.

You could dissolve the sulfur in carbon disulfide then filter, but that is an extremely noxious chemical.

Hope you meant seperation and not extraction, they are both different

Sorry my drawing is terrible (-_-)

hope this helps ☺️
