Analogous organs are the organs which are different in structure but having similar functions.

They plays a very important role in theory of evolution.

For example - birds and bat have wings that are different in structure but having a common function i.e. flying. it suggests that birds and bats have common ancestors i.e. aves and mammals have same ancestors
