Answer:

Let's summarize the divisibility rules: A number is divisible by 3 if the sum of its digits is divisible by 3. A number is divisible by 9 if the sum of its digits is divisible by 9. And a number is divisible by 6 if it is divisible by 2 (even number) and by 3.

Answer:

Divisibility of 2

For this we have to see the last digit. If the last digit is even then the number will be divisible by 2

ex:- 2398, it's last digit is 8 which is even so it's divisible by 2.

while 3479 is not divisible by 2 bcoz it's last digit is odd no.

Divisibility of 3

For this we have to add all the numbers. If the sum of all no. is divisible by 3 then the number will be divisible by 3.

ex:- 234→ 2+3+4 = 9 which is divisible by 3 so the no. 234 will be divisible by 3

Divisibility by 6

In this we have to check if the number is divisible by both 2 and 3. If the given no. is divisible by 2 & 3 then the no. will be divisible by 6

ex:- 234, It's last digit is 4 which is even so it's divisible by 2

As we have checked earlier that 234 is divisible by 3 so 234 will be divisible by 6.

Divisibility by 9

It's same as of rule for 3.we have to add all the numbers. If the sum of all no. is divisible by 9 then the number will be divisible by 9.

ex:- 882

It's sum will be = 8+8+2 = 18, which is divisible by 9. So the no. 882 will be divisible by 9

Hope it helps you!
