Physical activities in the nature like dispersion, reflection, friction, etc.. act on their own. The substances required for such actions are provided by the nature itself. For example, dispersion of sun rays in the morning. The sun rays are produced by the sun and these get dispersed by the suspended water droplets in the atmosphere which are natural as well.

Talking about Biological activities, the case is the same. The substances required are provided by the environment. For example, digestion of food. The food is naturally provided, and our body being natural too, is the one digesting and using it.

But,Chemical activities require artificial inputs, like there are some chemicals which do not react independently in nature, but in the laborataries, these are reacted just to see what would happen IF IT WAS SO.
