An example of an unfair party is the Chinese Communist Party that doesn't take into account that fair and free elections need to happen. Why? Because who will this party loose against when there is only one party in power at all times and only one party comes into the elections.

In a democratic government there is a need for elections to be free and fair because the candidates get elected through the people only. It is their choice and in their hands who to bring into power so if their choice doesn't get selected due to lack of transparency or rigging then that would be unfair.

But in reality, China does not have free and fair election and all elected members are selected by the communist party of China. People from China can vote for their leader, but the election procedures are not clear enough to establish democracy.
