Xenogamy is the transfer of pollen grains from the anther to the stigma of a different plant. This is the only type of pollination which during pollination brings genetically different types of pollen grains to the stigma.........

Xenogamy is also known as cross fertilisation. It is the transfer of pollen grains from the anthers of flowers of one plant, to the stigma of a flower of another plant of the same species. It requires agents like wind, water and insects. It's said - "Nature favours Xenogamy. " because of :
1. Unisexuality.
2. Dichogamy.
3. Self-Sterelity.
4. Herkogamy.
5. Heterostyly.
Example of some flowers are :
Grass, maple trees, dandelions ;etc.
