Acetic acid is a weak acid as it does not completely dissociates into the aqueous solution. The dissociation ofacetic acid into acetate ion and H+ ion is an equillibrium reaction where concentration of H+ ion into the solution is not much increased and the solution is feebly acidic.

HCL is a strong acid because it contains more number of Hydrogen ions when compare to acidic acids which has fewer number of Hydrogen ions so it is a week acid. It will change by charging the Hydrogen ions. (Hope u find the answer helpful)
