Let the number be 10x+y

According to question,
xy=12.........(i)

Again,
10x+y+36=10y+x
=>9x+36=9y
=>9(x+4)=9y
=>x+4=y
=>x=y-4......(ii)

Putting value of x in equation (i),we get....
y(y-4)=12
 =  > y {}^{2}   -  4y - 12 = 0
Hence,the quadratic equation is
y {}^{2}   -  4y - 12
Solving this equation....
y {}^{2}   -  6y + 2y- 12
 = y(y  -  6)  + 2(y - 6)
 = (y - 6)(y + 2)
Therefore value of y =6 and y not equal to -2

Putting value of y in equation (ii),we get....
x=6-4
=>x=2

Hence the number is 10x+y
=10*2+6
=20+6
=26

Hope you like it.....
