DEFINATION :- It consists of relatively unspecified cells with thin cells. They are live cells. This tissue provides support to the plants and also stores food

EXAMPLES

£#CHLORENCHYMA:- It in some situation contains chlorophyll and performs photosynthesis and then it is called chlorenchyma.

£#AERENCHYMA:- In aquatic plants large air cavities are present in parenchyma to give buoyancy to help the plants float. Such parenchyma is called aerenchyma.
