I can understand your situation because i have done same kind of mistake in the past but my parents forgave me. This is what worked for me.

Ask them for forgiveness and promise them that you will not repeat this again and also say that you have learnt your lesson. You can also help them in some household work in return of forgiveness. You can also say that you will study hard for this exam etc...
