RUSSIAN REVOLUTION

The Russian Revolution took place in

1917, during the final phase of World

War I. It removed Russia from the war

and brought about the transformation of

the Russian Empire into the Union of

Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR),

replacing Russia's traditional monarchy

with the world's first Communist state.

The main cause of Russian revolution was that as the industry grew at a much faster rate. There was no one to listen to the demands of the workers and small labourers who actually made the industries productive. All the industries were the property of individuals who only cared about their own profit. So the workers formed unions and parties to revolt against the resting of property and industry in one hand and rather industry should be handled by the government or by cooperative. Lenin was the main leader of the workers union
