Human excretory system:-

The biological process involved the removal of harmful metabolic wastes from the body is called excretion. These metabolic wastes include gaseous wastes generated during photosynthesis or respiration in plants and nitrogeous wastes generated during the breakdown of proteins in humans.

The excretory system includes:-

  • A pair of kidneys :- They contain nephron which are the filtering units.

  • A pair of ureters:- They connect kidneys with the urinary bladder and transport urine from kidneys.

  • A urinary bladder:- Urine is stored in the urinary bladder.
