Pythagoras Theorem :-In a right angled triangle the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the square of the other two sides (say perpendicular and other is base)

Example:-In a right traingle ABC

AB-5 cm(Hypotenuse)

BC:3 cm(Base)

CA:4 cm(Perpendicular)

Now according to theorem :-

 {(</strong><strong>AB</strong><strong>) =  {(</strong><strong>BC</strong><strong>)}^{2} }+  {(</strong><strong>CA</strong><strong>)}^{2}

➠ {(5)}^{2}  =  {(3)}^{2}  +  {(4)}^{2}

➠25 = 9 + 16

➠25 = 25
