HEY MATE , HERE IS YOUR ANSWER...✌✌❤❤
1. The growth of a plant in response to light is known as PHOTOTROPISM.
If a plant is kept near the only open window of a dark room, after few days it can be found that the growth of the plant tip is towards the window and the plant is growing by bending itself towards the light source. This proves that light is responsible for the bending of the branch.
2. The growth of a plant in response to gravity is known as GEOTROPISM.
The roots are exhibiting positive geotropism, or growth with gravity, while the stem is exhibiting negative geotropism, or growth against gravity.
The roots need to grow into the ground to provide stability for the plant, as well as to access water and nutrients. The stem needs to grow upward toward the sunlight so the plant can photosynthesize, or make food from sunlight.
