- Negative statement + comma (,) + positive question tag + question mark.
Examples:-

- She brought it yesterday, didn't she?
Example :-
- Tina and Meena were playing in the garden. (Add a question tag)
Required answer:
- Tina and Meena were playing in the garden,
Explanation:
Here, the given statement is a postive statement. So, the question tag that should be formed must be in negative. To make the question tag, first let us find the 'auxiliary verb'. And here, the auxiliary verb is "were". Then we've to find the the pronoun. The pronoun should be taken as is "they", as there are two persons as the subject (Tina & Meena) performing the action. Now, the question tag can be formed by placing the pronoun next to the auxiliary verb. The helping verb is added with the contracted form of "not" to make it negative "weren't they". Finally, question mark (?) is added at the end.
