in this poem, meera oberoi is sharing her expierence about what happens to a laburnum tree in different seasons and how its value increases in the spring.
whereas in the summer, the laburnum is as ordinary as any other tree. neither its leaves are remerkable nor its height. but when it is spring, the golden leaves cover it like a sheild and catches the attention of every patron that passes by. also, the beggar who can see it is able to enjoy a beautiful moment of joy like this and forgets all pain and poverty caused to him
