Hey Mate !!

➜ In daisy wheel printer the characters are arranged on the ends of the spokes of a wheel (resembling the petals on a daisy).

➜ The will usually made of plastic is rotated to select the character to print and then an electrically operated hammer mechanism bends the selected spoke forward slightly, sandwitching an ink ribbon between the character and the paper, as in a typewriter.

➜ It cannot print graphics but produces a letter quality type.

Answer:

A daisy-wheel printer works on the same principle as a ball-head typewriter. The daisy wheel is a disk made of plastic or metal on which characters stand out in relief along the outer edge. To print a character, the printer rotates the disk until the desired letter is facing the paper.
