We know that a lot health issues are rising due to lack of personal hygiene and cleanliness of the surroundings. Thus it is an important factor that we need to maintain it at any cost due to outbreak of infectious diseases such as dengue, jaundice , common cold etc by various means and one such cause is open defecation. This not only leads to discharge of fowl smell but also act as a substance for breeding ( flies etc). So to maintain health we also need to think of proper discharge of waste as well faecal matter to ensure proper health.
