Answer ; The study of phylogenetics together with the theory of evolution is the only thing that offers an explanation of the facts that can be confirmed to be correct.

No religious ideas I have ever heard of have any explanation for why humans and other species are the way they are, and the facts never really add up with such ideas.

Special creation cannot account for the specific facts of life, but would leave those things completely unexplainable, and thus it’s a useless concept.

If you say that “life exists because my god created it”, then you have no explanation for why humans are the way they are. If you refer to the bible and says that “we’re created in the image of God”, then it doesn’t explain why a god would be a vertebrate and a mammal, because why would “the one true god” produce milk? Why would it have a vestigial tail? Why would it have hair?

It just makes no sense, and it doesn’t add up, and it leaves every detail about life impossible to explain. Even if you were to accept it for thje sake of argument, you’d still have to ask “OK, so how did God go about doing this?”. The answer must effectively be “magic”, which is not an answer at all, since “magic” means doing something that cannot be done, though some unknown and unexplainable means.

Also note that a “theory” is not a “hypothesis”, in science. When you say “theories”, you probably really mean “hypothteses”. A scientific “theory” is well established, and thus there cannot be more than one scientitic theory that explains the same thing at the same time.

Scientifically, there has only ever been one theory that explains these things.

Religions do not have theories or hypotheses, they have dogma.
