AnswEr :

We have to express 4log(m) - log(n) as an single logarithm

Given Expression,

 \sf \: 4 log(m) - log(n)

Power Rule of Logarithm : alog(b) = log(b^a)

 \longrightarrow \: \sf \: log( {m}^{4} ) - log(n)

Division Rule of Logarithm : log(a) - log(b) = log(a/b)

 \longrightarrow \: \sf \: log( \dfrac{ \: \: \: {m} \: ^{4} }{n} )

Thus, the log expression can be rewritten as log(m⁴/n)

Properties of Logarithms :

  • Log(a) + Log(b) = Log(ab)

  • Log_b(a) = Log(a)/Log(b)

  • Log(a) - Log(b) = Log(a/b)

  • b Log (a) = Log(a^b)
