Hybridisation is used for making element structure. Like we know that the atomic number of calcium is 20.then we want to find hybridisation of this. Then divided the atomic number by 8.

We know that only 1 obit exist in s and only 3 orbit exist in f. If there are 6 then we write sp3d2
