Universal gravitational constant = G
Newton's gravitational force = F = G M m /d²
=> G = Force distance² /mass²
= mass * distance /time² * distance²/ mass²
G = distance³ /(time² mass)
SI units: m³ /sec² kg)
= (100 cm)³ / (sec² - 1000 gm)
= 1000 cm³/ gm-cm²
CGS units of G are cm³/cm-sec²
Ratio = 1000.
