Causes:-

1. Industrial wastes such as harmful gases and chemicals, pesticides, insecticide and and fertilisers are the common cause of soil pollution.

2. Fuel leakage from automobiles that get washed away due to rain and seep into nearby soil.

Outlets:-

1. Soil pollution can occur because of human activities and natural processes.

2. It occur due to presence of pesticides, herbicides, petroleum hydrocarbons, lead, nitrate, mercury, nephthalene, etc. in an excess amount.
