Quit India movement is the final stage of freedom struggle until 1945 that led to India's independence.

• Quit India movement began in 1942 by the Indian leaders. Gandhiji delivered a message to all the Indians for Do or Die.

• As a result of this movement Thousands of people lost their lives, so many people were arrested by the British government.

• In 1943 Azad Hind Government was set up by Subash Chandra Bose.

• In 1945, Simla Conference was held by Lord Wavell to stop these political battles.

• Finally India got independence on June 3rd, 1947.
