Answer:

The process by which green plants make their own food from CO2 and water by using sunlight and in the presence of chlorophyll is called photosynthesies.

6 molecules of Carbon dioxide and 6 molecules of water in the prescene of sunlifht and chlorophyll reacts to form glucose and oxygen(by product)

The dood prepared by the green leaves is in the form of simple sugar called glucose.

Extra glucose is stored in the form of starch in leaves.

The process of photosynthesis take place in three steps:

1) Absorption of sunlight energy by chlorophyll

2) Conversion of light energy into chemical enenrgy and splitting of water into hydrogen and oxygen by light energy.

3)Reduction of carbon dioxid by hydrogen to form carbohydrate by utilising the chemical energy

Answer:

Photosynthesis is the process by which plants, some bacteria, and some protistans use the energy from sunlight to produce glucose from carbon dioxide and water. This glucose can be converted into pyruvate which releases adenosine triphosphate ( ATP) by cellular respiration. Oxygen also formed.
