exploitation of children debate

Children should be adequately paid and not forced to work Child labor is ethical if they are being paid fair wages and are not being forced to unwillingly do labor. In places like China where they force children to work for horrible wages, it is not ethical to do such a thing. But, in some circumstances, child labor can be practiced ethically.
Cannot afford to working, have family to feed, infrastructure not well developed Child labour employment is an ethical practice to an extent, in 3rd world countries it is where child labour most likely to be seen because the economic status are relatively poor, some of the family barely manage to buy food, financially they cannot afford school fees. Opposition may say 'children should be at school and childhood should not be at work', yes I agreed but has to be realistic, we are living in 1st world country ofcause we can afford to say this.
Hunger or Work, who are we to choose. Slave labor is obviously unacceptable, and can't be defended. But in places in the world were extreme poverty is real. Work provides a individual with a means to live. Voluntary child labor provides opportunity to put that person on a better track than the alternative of not working. Again in developed nations, we believe young should invest in education to do work that requires an education. But in other areas in the world, best preparation for work is actually work. America has a generation of youth that hasn't toil in hard labor. Work is as important as education. Education without application is a drain on society.
